SBM / Solar-Stik MEHPS 560W Military Solar Panel Array

These are military-spec solar panels. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, for actual shipping cost or to arrange local pick up. Will ship as is, with no cardboard box, in the SKB Case. Comes (2) 280W panels per case. Rolling case, 2 stands, 2 panels, cables and ground securing kit are all included. The connectors at the panels are standard MC4. The cable set is ~32ft and goes back to a single cannon plug which you can cut off and add the connector you need for your system. I have had all the panels out and connected to my solar generator to test. On the day I was testing, my Bluetti 200W panels put out ~145W. These 280W panels were putting out ~250W each, if that gives you an idea of their performance. Unlike most, if not all of the folding panels available on the market, these are designed to be waterproof so you *could* leave them out or permanent mount them. Do not submerge and follow manufacturer recommendations. These seem to be a collaboration between multiple groups to effectively supply the military. Seem to be kitted and delivered by «Solar Stik» Home – Solar Stik. The panels and stands are made by «SBM solar» Military | SBM Solar. The cases are «SKB» microphone stand cases. Taken from SBM website: SBM has been the main solar panel supplier to the military since 2011.All of their panels have been tested for impact, vibration, water immersion, punctures, thermal cycling, sand exposure, radiation exposure, dropped, shot, hammered and run over by military vehicles. All tested at or above 80% of their original output after said test. Since SBM doesn’t sell the panels commercially they only list prices for their 300W panel and stand on their website. The 300W panels are listed at $1725 each and the stands are listed at $1897 each. The SKB case is $414 on amazon. Combine cables, custom case, ground securing kit, panels and stands and the military is paying ~$8000 a case. These appear to have been purchased by the military to test. They were manufactured in June of 2022 so they are the among the latest and greatest. The bad: ●The price…I know, but see above ●The SKB cases are definitely not the greatest. Read the reviews on Amazon. They seem flimsy and do not close or seal great. ●The foam in the case is very tight on the panels. The panels are hard to get in and out of the case. ●A lot of the panels have small stickers on them where they were «reworked» during manufacturing. I talked to an engineer at SBM and he said just leave them as they did not hurt performance. He did not say if you could remove them. Either way no big deal. The most I saw on a panel was 3.
